Entrance Fees For Lake Mburo National Park : Entrance fees is the amount of the money paid by the tourists to access Lake Mburo National Park.The entrance fee is charged by Uganda Wildlife Authority which is the government body in Uganda responsible for tourism. Lake Mburo is a tourist destination, and it’s the smallest national park in Uganda, located in Kiruhura district in Western Uganda.

Lake Mburo national park offers the tourists with the wide wildlife that is found in the park majorly the zebras. Other animal species in the park includes the impalas, buffaloes, leopards, hippos and among others without forgetting the bird species.

Lake Mburo national park offers the tourists with the exciting Uganda safari activities that includes game drives, bird watching, guided nature walks and hiking, sport fishing, boat cruise, horseback riding and among others.

Tourists who come to explore Lake Mburo national park are given the park entrance permits at Nshara and Sanga entrance gates where you present the valid identification card to identify whether you are East African citizen, foreign resident or the non-resident and then you access the park.

Getting there - Lake Mburo National ParkAnnual corporate pass.

Annual corporate pass is applied to all the protected areas for foreign residents in Uganda and East African citizens only, and here the vehicle entrance is paid separately. The foreign residents require a permit that is valid for the entire one year in order to qualify for the annual pass.

Foreign residents pay 1500 USD and 2,500,000 UGX for East African citizens.

A safari guide is charged 100,000 UGX annual park entrance pass.

A taxi driver is charged 100,000 UGX annual park entrance pass and tour company drivers enter for free.

Saloon cars.

Foreign non-resident salon cars are charged 40 USD entry fees, 10 USD for foreign residents and 20,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Motor cycles.

Foreign non- residents motor cycles are charged 30 USD entry fees, 5 USD for foreign residents and 10,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Minibuses or the Omni buses.

The foreign non -resident minibuses are charges 50 USD entry fees, 15USD for foreign residents and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Pick-ups.                 

Foreign non- residents pick-ups are charges 50 USD entry fees, 15 USD for the foreign residents and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Over landers.

Foreign non- residents over landers are charged 150 USD entry fees, 50 USD for foreign residents and 100,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Tour company vehicle and 4 wheel drive.

Foreign non- residents tour company vehicles are charges 150 USD entry fees, 15 USD for foreign residents and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.

School buses.

Foreign resident school buses are charged 25 USD entry fees and 50,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Buses and Lorries.

Foreign non- resident buses and Lorries are charged 150 USD entry fees, 75 USD for foreign residents and 150,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Boats up to 15 seater for foreign non- residents are charges 50 USD, 25 USD for foreign residents and 50,000 USD for East African citizens.

Boats are charged 10,000 UGX parking fees per day.

Air crafting landing fees.

Glinders, microlights for foreign non- residents is charged 10 USD, 10 USD for foreign residents and 20,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Up to 3 seater aircraft for foreign non- residents is charged 20 USD, 20 USD for foreign residents and 40,000 UGX for East African Citizens.

4 to 6 seater aircraft for foreign residents is charged 30 USD, 30 USD for foreign residents and 60,000 UGX for East African citizens.

7 to 14 seater aircraft 120,000 UGX for East African citizens for foreign residents is charged 40 USD, 40 USD for foreign residents and 80,000 UGX for East African citizens.

15 to 20 seater aircraft for foreign non- residents is charged 50 USD, 50 USD for foreign residents and 100,000 UGX for East African citizens.

21 seats and above aircraft for foreign non- residents is charged 60 USD, 60 USD for foreign residents and

Helicopter for foreign non- residents is charged 100 USD per landing, 125 USD for foreign residents and 250,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Landing fees exclude entry fees payable by passengers and pilots en-route do not pay entry fees if they spend less than 2 hours in the Lake Mburo national park.

Launch cruise or motorboats.

Big and small boats for foreign non- residents are charged 30 USD, 30 USD for foreign residents and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Private guided game drives.

Only pre-registered vehicles will undertake the night game drives in Lake Mburo national park and use of Uganda Wildlife Authority guided is mandatory.
