DETAILS OF THE 10 DAYS UGANDA PRIMATES ADVENTURE

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the lodge

On arrival at the airport, our tour guide will welcome you and later transfer you to the lodge nearby for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After early morning breakfast, our tour guide shall pick you up for transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way to Murchison falls, you shall have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking and later go for lunch in a local restaurant along the way. After a delicious meal, you shall proceed to Murchison falls National Park lodges and then check in. Dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 3: Full day in Murchison Falls National Park

After early morning breakfast, you shall be transferred to the park center to embark on a game drive where you shall be delighted to see plenty of wildlife. These include wild animals, fresh waters of the park, bird species, savannah grasslands, and many more. After the game drive, you shall return to the lodge for a delicious meal and also get ready for the afternoon launch trip/boat cruise. Later after lunch, you shall start the boat cruise from Paara dock while sailing toward the bottom of the falls. This sailing rewards you with a view of a number of wildlife like the water animals which include Hippos, crocodiles, and a number of unique water bird species. Later shall return to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After morning breakfast, you shall check out from the lodge and set off for Kibale Forest National Park. On arrival, you shall check in at the lodge and later go for a cultural encounter with the nearby communities. Cultural encounters are done in the communities of Bakiga people and Batooro people where you will get to see their cultural attires, dance, and drama. This is quite an amazing thing to do and later shall go back to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early morning breakfast, our tour guide shall transfer you to the Kanyanchu visitor center where you shall be briefed on the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee tracking experience in the jungle. Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest lasts for 2 to 4 hours including the one hour you spent around the chimpanzees observing their behavior in the jungle. After the tracking, you shall be taken back to the lodge. Later check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a lunch stopover in a local restaurant. On arrival at the park premises, you shall check in, relax and wait for dinner, and a midnight stay.

Day 6: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early morning breakfast, you shall be transferred to Kasenyi Plains of the park for a game drive. Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park are quite rewarding whereby you get to see plenty of wildlife species like the savannah animals which include Lions, Warthogs, Leopards, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Hyenas, and a number of bird species. Later shall be taken back to the lodge to relax and later have lunch while getting ready for an afternoon boat cruise. Later after a delicious meal, you shall be taken to the landing site of Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise experience. The boat cruise usually lasts for 3 hours and you shall be delighted to see water animals, water birds, and a few other animals that come around to take water in Kazinga Channel. Later shall be taken back to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 7: Game drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After early morning breakfast, you shall be taken to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive. This is quite rewarding because you get to see plenty of wildlife species but mostly known for the Tree Climbing Lions that hold on so tight to the branches of the fig trees in the Ishasha sector. Ishasha sector also has other wildlife which includes the Topis, Warthogs, Elephants, and many others. After the game drive, you shall head back to the lodge for check out and later transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You shall have a lunch stopover on your way to Bwindi in a local restaurant and later proceed with the journey. On arrival at the park, you shall check in, dinner will be served, and a midnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Encounter with the Batwa People

The eighth day of 10 Days Uganda Primates Adventure Safari starts with early morning breakfast, after, you shall be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing on how to conduct yourself in the jungle with the Gorillas while on a trek. With the go-ahead of the Park ranger who will guide you through the whole trekking experience session. The session will take 3 to 5 hours including the one hour you spend with the gorillas after meeting them, you get to see how they behave in the wild. After the gorilla trekking, you shall head back to the lodge to relax and later have a delicious meal from the comfort zone of your lodge.

If you are not tired, you shall go for a community walk after your lunch in the afternoon with the Batwa People. This experience gets you to learn more about the Batwa people mainly their traditional way of living. Later after that, you shall return to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park and a night game drive

After morning breakfast, you shall check out from the lodge for a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. On your way, you shall have a lunch stopover in a local restaurant and later proceed with the Journey. On arrival in Lake Mburo National Park, you shall check in at the lodge and get ready for an afternoon boat cruise on the fresh waters of Lake Mburo. This rewards you with a view of plenty of water birds, water animals, and a few other animals that come to take water from the lake. After this amazing scenery, you shall head back to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for departure

After early morning breakfast, you shall head to the center of the park to start on a game drive which will reward you with plenty of beautiful scenery. You shall see a number of wild animals including Zebras, Klipspringers, Antelopes, Eland, Topis, Oribis, White Tailed Mongoose Duikers, Boogor Reedback, Giraffes, and many bird species too. Later after the game drive, you shall head back to the lodge, waiting for to have lunch while relaxing. After lunch, you shall check out from the lodge for a transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for departure.
