Lake Mburo national park is a beautiful park in western Uganda. It is a known place for its number of zebras and closeness to Kampala Uganda’s capital city. Our 5 days at Lake Mburo national park will give you an insight into the angelic features of the parks. From the Lakes, wildlife to the culture of the people of Mbarara the Ankole and Bahima.

You will get to experience the park on game drives while appreciating what it has to offer. This Tour begins and ends in Entebbe or Kampala.

Itinerary of the 5 Days Lake Mburo National park

Day 1: Arrival at the Entebbe international airport

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative. They will transfer you to the accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight. Rest as we wait to encounter the angelic park.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

We will wake up to a morning breakfast after which shall transfer to Lake Mburo national park. Passing through the lovely angelic hills of the park is supernatural beautiful. We will stopover in Masaka to experience the equator, enjoy a picture moment by the signposts along the roadside. Arriving for a hot lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo. You will be amazed by the cool breeze as you spot water birds and animals like hippos and crocodiles. We return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Full day Lake Mburo national park

We get something to eat or warm our tummies after which we will transfer to the park for morning game drives. The well-distributed tracks will lead you to herds of Zebras, Rothschild’s giraffes, antelopes, impalas, oribi, elands, warthogs. Along the marshy water pods in the park look out for hippos. The olive baboons seem to be littered on the elevated grounds of the ponds you will definitely not miss them. Day 4: Visit the Nshenyi Village

Following breakfast, we will transfer to experience the culture of the people of western Uganda specifically the Ankole and Bahima. On this day we will spend it at the Nshenyi village. You will witness how the milk is gotten from cows and the process of making ghee. Have the farm experience, women in the camp will show you how they make their traditional sauce from milk. The sauce is called “eshabwe”. After which we break off for a brief lunch and continue touring the old Bahima homesteads and how they live. Returning for dinner and a relaxed evening

Day 5: Departure

Last day of the tour, on this day you will have a relaxed breakfast along a veranda overlooking the savannah park. After which, we will set off to return to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
