3 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari : Lake Mburo, also known as “Whispers of the Wild” in the park, is one of the few parks with zebras and impalas to be found. As a matter of fact, it is the only park in the world in which you are able to experience a Uganda horseback safari while observing wildlife. Other unique alternatives to the standard game drive include bush biking and walking safaris, which are in addition to the usual game drives.

In addition to being the smallest Savannah Park in Uganda, Lake Mburo National Park is also the only place where you can spot both zebras and impalas. With this 3 days and 2 nights package, you will be able to spend three delightful days and two nights exploring the magic wilderness of this national park.

Detailed Safari Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

On the 1st day of your 3 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari, we will pick you up from Entebbe Airport, your hotel or any other agreed location in Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and drive you to Lake Mburo National Park.

The park is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks, and its foundation is made up of ancient Precambrian metamorphic rock formations, some of which are over 500 million years old.

You will have a chance to stop over at a place called Kayabwe which is located at the equator and witness the experiment as well as take a few photos for your memories. Proceed to Lake Mburo arriving mid-morning. Check in to the lodge and enjoy lunch. You will conduct an evening game drive and later return to your lodge for relaxation.

 Day 2: Morning walking safari/ Horseback Ride and boat trip

After your early morning breakfast, your driver will drive you to meet your ranger guide for a briefing on the activity before heading out for your morning walking Uganda safari.

In this activity, you will be able to observe wildlife on foot, so you should expect to see animals that you would also have seen on a game drive, with the exception of the fact that you will be walking.

Remember to take your camera so that you can preserve all your memories and also make sure not to miss out on anything while you are on your amazing trip. This activity can also be extended by doing an optional Bush biking adventure if that is what you would like to do for the duration of this activity.

Return to the lodge for lunch and later go for a relaxing and experiential boat cruise on the lake. Return in the evening to prepare for dinner and overstay at the lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park and Departure

This is the last day of your Uganda Safari in Lake Mburo National Park, wake up early in the morning, you will be served with breakfast, after you will head out for a morning game drive to further more explore Lake Mburo National park. After the game drive you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. During your journey, you will pass by the equator where you will have a chance to take amazing pictures and have a coffee break. In order to catch your flight onward, you need to proceed to the Entebbe airport.
