3 days Murchison falls safari gives you an amazing view of the Murchison waterfalls that are found on Victoria Nile River. Previously the national park was called kabalega national park and it’s found in Masindi and Nwoya districts. This Uganda safari takes you to a number of activities such as game drives where you will spot a number of wildlife species such as lions, antelopes, waterbucks, elephants, giraffes and many more, hiking to the top of the falls as well as the boat ride experience on the Nile river.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1; TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS AND HIKE TO THE TOP OF THE FALLS

You will be picked by the safari driver early in the morning after breakfast and you will be briefed about the Uganda wildlife safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Murchison falls with an enroute lunch in Masindi.

After lunch, we proceed to Murchison falls national park and proceed the hiking up to the top of the falls. After the hike, you will head to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND BOAT RIDE ON THE VICTORIA NILE

Early in the morning, you will head for the morning game drive where you will spot wildlife in their active state. Early game drive is the best time for spotting nocturnal animals as well as hunters before they return to their hideouts. Around paraa, you will spot animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, waterbucks among others. After the morning game drive, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will set out for the afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile where you will spot wildlife species more close and clear. Animals such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many more as they come to drink water, refresh as well as cool off the scorching sun.

DAY 3; MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

Early in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and head for the morning game drive throughout the park. Expect to see a number of wildlife. After you will proceed on the journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch in Masindi town. After lunch, you will proceed with the journey back to Kampala. On reaching Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or any place of your choice.
