Mpogo safari lodge is a comfortable midrange facility in Lake Mburo national park. It is along the hilly beautiful landscape of the Vast Savannah that has Lakes. They offer visitors a vast experience inclusive of the cultural touch of the people of western Uganda. Mbarara city is a place of the Ankole and Bahima people who will take you through. The peaceful facility was originally a farmhouse. The premises are littered with a number of animal species that came to the salt well. These include Zebras, impalas, antelopes, on occasional hyenas are available. The idea of having to build the Lodge was brilliant as it came along a luxury set up.
The lodge blends perfectly with the surrounding environment due to its lovely architectural design. The beautiful 16 rooms offer a comfortable stay for travelers at an affordable rate. Each of the rooms has en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, and showers that run both cold and hot water. The rooms are in strategic positions with stunning g views of the park and surrounding environment. Mpogo lodge rooms are into single, double, or Twin rooms. It has a luxurious private family cottage. The main lodge area consists of a restaurant serving both local and international food to travelers that visit the lodge. A well-stocked bar serving local Ugandan beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks, and a spacious dining area. Activities
While enjoying your stay at the lodge, it is a perfect getaway to do activities in Lake Mburo national park. This is the country’s smallest conservation area among the Savannah Park. It is the stopover while on Safari to the western part of Uganda. You can decide on only visiting the park. Along Masaka Mbarara highway is Latitude zero a point at which earth is divided into the northern and southern hemispheres. Depending on the choice, one can have a picture or two showing the crossed the equator. Dine at the equator, and also experience the equatorial type of climate.
Most of the Park area is in water. The 13 Lakes are a big deal when it comes to the outstandingly stunning beauty of the park.
