This 5 days Bwindi, Mburo, and Queen Elizabeth safari gets you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a gorilla trekking experience. Later you will transfer to the most famous national park in Uganda where you will have a game drive. You find plenty of wildlife and mostly the tree climbing lions.

You will also visit Lake Mburo one of the smallest savannah grasslands in the country with a variety of wildlife.

DETAILS OF THE 5 DAYS OF BWINDI, MBURO, AND QUEEN ELIZABETH

On Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival at the airport, our tour guide will welcome and show you around. He or she will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. On the way you shall have a few stopovers like for lunch. You can get lunch in one of the local restaurants and do a little shopping for the journey. On arrival at the park, our guide will take you to your lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Early in the morning, you will serve breakfast at the lodge. Then you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing. Here you can expect guidance on how to behave with the gorillas by a park ranger. After you will enter the jungle for the mountain gorilla trek where you will also see other primates like baboons. The black and white colobus, and so on. This usually takes less time between 2 to 3 hours per session. Once you find the gorillas, spend one hour interacting with them and leave them to continue with their journey.

After gorilla trekking, you will go back to the lodge for check-out and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. On your way, you will have a lunch stopover then proceed to the park. This will take 5 to 6 hours to drive on road. On arrival at the park, our guide escorts you to the lodge for check-in, dinner and a midnight stay.

On Day 3: Game drive and a boat cruise at the waters of the park

This is the third day of your trip. So early in the morning, you will serve breakfast before going to the park headquarters for a briefing. A park ranger will guide you on how to behave on the game drive. This game drive will take over 3 hours in the Ishasha sector where tree-climbing lions are commonly found. In this sector, there are plenty of other animals like elephants, buffalos, and many more with a variety of birds. Ishasha plains have more woodland and savannah grassland which is just perfect for a game drive adventure.

Later after the game drive, you will go for lunch while getting ready for a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. The cruise will start at 2 pm till evening. On this, you will get to see plenty of wildlife like hippos, elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, antelopes and many more. You will get to see many birds all over the shores flying while enjoying the beauty of this scenery. After you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

Early morning you will get breakfast at the lodge before checking-out for transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. The way to the park will take like 4 hours with a stopover for lunch in a local restaurant. On arrival at the park, you will go to the lodge for check-in. If interested, you can go for a horseback riding later in the evening. You can then go back to the lodge for dinner and a midnight stay.

Day 5: Nature Walk/Hike and transfer back to Kampala

On the last day of the trip, early morning you will have breakfast at the lodge. You will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on how to conduct yourself in this nature walk. This will take 3 hours while in guidance of a professional park ranger throughout the whole session. After this activity, you get back to the lodge to freshen up and get ready for transfer back to Kampala. After freshening up, you will have lunch, you will check-out from the lodge then transfer back to Kampala. This journey will take over 5-6 hours with a stopover at the equator for picture time. You will continue to Kampala or Entebbe airport for departure according to the time of your flight.
