Mountain gorillas are a unique species in the African ecosystems. Ugandan ones have been habituated in two ecosystems which are their original permanent home, they live in families of up to 10 members led by a Male silverback. On this trip we will look out for gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable national park tucked in the southwestern corner of Uganda. The park hosts half the population of the primate species in the world. On our adventurous 4 days of Mountain gorillas and wildlife at Lake Mburo national park we will have an experience of the tropical rainforest together with that of the Savannah.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Our guide will pick you up either from the airport or your accommodation in Entebbe/Kampala to transfer you to western Uganda. The distance ride is approximately a 9 hours’ drive to arrive at the destination passing through the angelic countryside of Uganda. We will stopover for lunch in Mbarara city, the so-called land of milk and honey. Arrival in the late evening for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2 of the adventurous 4 days Gorilla trekking and wildlife: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience

Waking up to the forest covering most of the area parts is wonderful. The misty clouds will have you wonder if you are actually next to the cold. The experience begins at the park headquarters with registration which our guide will help you with. Attend the briefing and in groups of eight you will be led into the forest to begin your adventurous 4 days of Gorilla trekking and wildlife. Gorillas are majestic and strong, you will see this when you meet them one on one. An hour is allowed to interact with the primates and then return for lunch and an evening entertainment from the Batwa, a group of last short structured people that will demonstrate on how they used to live in the forest and hunt.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park for the full wildlife experience.

We will enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Uganda’s smallest national savannah park arriving in the afternoon for lunch which will be followed by game drives and sundowners. Expect to see zebras, antelopes, elands, Jackson hartebeests, warthogs, impalas, waterbucks, and hippos, we return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe
